This truly delightful south-facing apartment in Nice sleeping 2 (or 3 or 4), is on the 2nd floor of a well-maintained apartment building in a quiet street within the very heart of the Old Town (Vieux Nice) – the most colourful, characterful and vibrant part of Nice.

This Old Town Nice apartment is very conveniently located within 250 metres of the beaches and the famous Promenade des Anglais, the lively Place Rossetti and the magnificent Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the 18th century Place Garibaldi, the Opera House, concert halls and art galleries, the Acropolis conference centre, the Chateau Hill, the Marina (Port) with all the magnificent yachts, and the wonderful Flower Market. The new Nice state-of-the-art tramway passes within 50 metres of this apartment. The central bus station is within 60 metres.

Within 200 metres there are countless appealing pavement cafes, restaurants, brasseries, bistros and bars, and every type of shopping you could possible wish for including a large and convenient supermarket. If you want to go off and explore the rest of the Cote d’Azur, the central bus station is only 120 metres away. This Nice apartment is in a perfect position for you to enjoy everything that this fascinating resort-city has to offer. A car is definitely not needed.

All our apartments in Nice are conveniently only 8-10 minutes from Nice Airport by bus, taxi or car. This Nice apartment has been professionally restored throughout to a very high standard with new floors, walls and ceilings, fitted kitchen and shower room, and with high quality furnishings and fittings in the classical Provencal style. There is an entry-phone system. There are marble-tiled floors throughout.

The very appealing, welcoming and sun-filled living room has French windows so you can step out onto a small balcony with your coffee in the morning, or glass of wine a little later in the day, and take in the charming view up and down this quiet Old Town street. It is a pleasure to observe the local Nicoises going about their daily lives in their customary relaxed way.

The dining table has plenty of room for 4 to sit around comfortably. There is a CD/tape player/radio, DVD player and a television if you should ever have time to watch it. You can bring your own favourite CDs or DVDs.

There is an elegant Louis XVI style sofa in the living room, which opens up into a proper mattress bed to sleep two more if required, thus giving 2 separate sleeping rooms, if needed.

In the bedroom you have a double bed, which has twin single mattresses and bases and therefore can be separated to make 2 singles if you prefer.

There is an extremely useful and spacious walk-in cupboard/wardrobe/storeroom.

The “kitchen Americaine” is equipped with fridge/freezer, 4-ring hob, microwave, cafetiere, electric kettle and toaster, and there is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The all-new fitted shower room also has a wash basin, vanitory unit and toilet. A hair dryer is provided. The apartment has central heating should you ever need it!

To keep the apartment cooler on very hot days the windows and the balcony doors have the traditional louvred wooden shutters so typical of the Old Town
